WELCOME TO LYMM CONCERT BAND
Brief History
Lymm Concert Band has been established in the local community for over 25 years and continues to go from strength to strength, under the Musical Directorship of Darren Wood who took up the baton in 2004.
Band ETHOS
We are a friendly group of musicians (some 45+ strong) with a passion for performing to the highest of standards, entertaining our audiences and having some fun along the way.
Co-op community fund
The band are thrilled to have been selected to participate in the annual Co-Op Community Fund scheme. The band have now been gifted funds of £2,455 from the scheme and are extremely grateful to the Co-Op and its members for their generosity. LYMM CONCERT BAND, PROMOTIONAL RECORDING
The band have collaborated virtually to make this promotional video/recording of the full band in action. The track is titled ‘Wensleydale’ which was composed by our very own John Hayes, Principal Euphonium.
